Renewable energy is the way forward

Renewable energy is the way forward for homes and businesses all over the world.  There seems to be a new story each day where schools, communities, business all around the world are using reusable energy rather than rely on fossil fuels.

Some schools in the USA are using a system when they create pellets from their general waste/rubbish which can then be turned into electricity.

Solar Heating panels are getting put up at a higher rate than ever before offering homes and businesses solar heating.

This is great news as there will come a time when we are not so reliant on fossil fuels, this is important as they are running out.

We can also make money we re generate our own power thanks to the feed-in tariffs the government developed. The feed-in Tariffs are new measurements introduced by the Government on 1st April 2010 to support and encourage deployment of small scale low carbon electricity generation.  Local businesses, communities and  people are able to invest in the generation of their own electricity, in return for a guaranteed payment for the electricity they generate and export back to the grid.  These feed-in tariff (FITS) are also known as Clean Energy Cashback.

I am already looking at having an air source heat pump for my office extension. There will be a bit of an outlay but I think it will be a good investment and far cheaper to heat my office than if I were to add an electric heater or radiator.

Renewable energy is here to stay and I am jolly excited about it if I am honest.
